The EZ-catalog application is a so called “click once application” and is as such installed within the AppData of a certain user. In some cases this is not possible because for example some users may not use permanent AppData or have a user profile, or it is desired to implement EZ-catalog in an alternative way with (especially) larger environments with multiple users.
This often occurs with terminal based or long distance managed environments.
Explanation
With every release EZ-base provides a runtime version of EZ-catalog which can be downloaded as a .zip file.
This version can be extracted in a folder on the users system and by running the application EzCatalog.Wpf.exe that is available in this folder, EZ-catalog can from now on be used.
